Planning the Session
When Christina called me to book her baby boy’s portrait session, I was happy to work with her to design a photo package that fit her needs best. Since she is a well known lifestyle blogger, she had a few specific requests for me and I was more than happy to oblige. This special session was also going to include her three year old daughter, Cadence. Little Colton was arriving in just a couple of weeks and I couldn’t wait to meet them.

Love Brown Sugar
Christina is a lifestyle blogger and it was a lot of fun getting to talk to her about her career. I really get to meet some amazing people! You should definitely check out her blogs on beauty and style http://lovebrownsugar.com and http://www.babybrownsugar.com on mommyhood. And, you can find Christina’s blog on baby Colton’s arrival with my images here: http://www.babybrownsugar.com/my-birth-story-baby-colton/ how fun is that?!
Big Sister, Cadence
I know and understand how special it is for parents to get that perfect shot of their first born child with their newest addition. Sometimes with toddlers, it’s a bit of a challenge for obvious reasons. Little ones are a bit skeptical of their new home invader and they cannot always be bribed with lollipops when they are being asked to pose. Cadence was the complete opposite. Not only is she stunning, she is a lovely young lady (she’s only 3 years old)! Cadence was patient and kind to her baby brother and everything I asked her to do, she did it with a beautiful smile. She’s one of those little people where I wish I had a “copy” and “paste” button for every portrait session. And, you can see that baby Colton was smiling in his photos with his new big sister. I mean, how gorgeous!!?
